How to calculate your Personal Year number
A Personal Year number combines your birth month and day with a calendar year you choose. Numeria uses the result as an annual reflection theme. Unlike your Life Path, it changes with the selected year. You can calculate it with a pencil before exploring a full reading.
The Personal Year calculation
Reduce your birth month to a single digit by adding its digits. Reduce your birth day in the same way. Then reduce the selected calendar year. Add those three single-digit components and reduce their sum to one digit, from 1 to 9.
Numeria does not preserve master numbers for Personal Year: 11 becomes 2, 22 becomes 4 and 33 becomes 6 at every reduction stage. This differs from its Life Path calculation, which preserves those values. Your birth year is not used for Personal Year.
Worked example: a 24 July birthday in 2026
July gives 7. The day, 24, gives 2 + 4 = 6. The selected year, 2026, gives 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 → 1. Add the components: 7 + 6 + 1 = 14 → 5. The Personal Year number for this birthday in 2026 is 5.
For the same birthday in 2027, the year reduces to 11 → 2. The total is 7 + 6 + 2 = 15 → 6. That illustrates why the result changes when you select another year, even though your birthday and Life Path do not change.
Does it start in January or on your birthday?
Numeria uses the calendar-year convention: the selected year's theme runs from January through December. It does not calculate a birthday-to-birthday transition. Other practitioners may use different timing conventions; check the method when comparing readings.
The year is a label for a symbolic reflection, not a timetable of events. A new year does not force a change in your relationships, work or circumstances. You can revisit the prompt whenever it helps you think about a choice.

These are concise ETERONA prompts for entertainment and self-reflection. They do not predict a good or bad year, a financial result or a relationship outcome. Choose actions based on your actual circumstances.
How to use it alongside your Life Path
Life Path is a stable date-based theme in this system; Personal Year is the theme attached to a chosen calendar year. Reading them together gives you two questions rather than a verdict. For example, you might compare a Life Path prompt about exploration with a Personal Year prompt about foundations and ask how to try something new while keeping a useful routine.
The public Numeria example lets you see an atlas before entering details. If you begin your own reading, the calculation steps stay visible so that you can check the arithmetic and distinguish it from the interpretation. A name is optional for these date-based numbers.
